• Kelvin-Helmholtz Instability forms in cavitating microchannels. Governs Cavitation Cloud Shedding Microchannels. This is the third mechanism of cavitation cloud shedding. High Speed and X-ray visualization was performed. Simple model for flow developed. The paper shows inside a micro-Venturi channel. While initial aim study to establish supercavitating conditions micro-Venturi, yet we found that this regime suppressed due formation instability, which triggers semi periodical attached cavity collapse. In depth observations using high speed imaging with visible light X-rays revealed is, besides re-entrant jet shock wave, leading shedding cavitation. addition, simple proposed explains instability also offers explanation on why dominant at small scales.
